***lady vols and vols were both big winners on saturday...lady vols raised their 8th national championship banner...fresh off his world series championship, phillies shortstop jimmy rollins was in the house watching his sister who played for san francisco...

***the vols dominated ut chattanooga on saturday night...jp prince was back in action and the newcomers showed that they are for real...s. hopson, t. smith, and j. prince had some sweet dunks...the guys shot lights out and gave the crowd plenty to look forward to for the season...
***big week ahead in the sports world...espn is doing a 24 hour basketball marathon on tuesday!!! and i am so pumped...memphis and umass open up at midnight-- with basketball all day and the primetime game is kentucky vs north carolina at 9...two programs with HUGE basketball tradition...the tar heels are facing lots of injuries...and the cats are coming off a opening season loss to VMI...would be a huge boost for billy g's club to get the W in chapel hill...
***10-essee...go titans go...not gonna gloat here...been on their bandwagon before it was cool...so just gonna share a fun article on one of my favorite defensive players-- c. finnegan...
