yo yo yo to all...hope everyone's weekend was just fabulous...

mine was busy but enjoyable...

go ahead and recap the ut sporting events from the weekend:

***men's basketball beat tusculum 82-51 on friday night...the vols dominated the first half -- they were up 49-12 at the break...their defense got a little slack in the 2nd and they did not look as on point as in the first half...r. woolridge had some nice minutes, b

. maze dished the ball well with 9 assists, and e. negedu gets down on the block and busts around with major hustle...big fan.

***ut football lost to wyoming 13-7...score says it all...however, as you can see by the picture above we got a pic/quick chat with jason witten!   super nice guy...wish he would of brought t. romo and/or TO up to rocky top with him...but i won't be picky...

***lady vols had another dominating exhibition win on sunday...those freshman are talented and i think they will surprise a lot of people who are expecting the lady vols to be down...very poised group to be so young...

***both basketball teams back in action on saturday to open up regular season play...football has a much needed bye week before they head to vandy on the 22nd...

***there was some shake up in the college football world on saturday...

*penn state got upset (thank gosh) by iowa...the sec and big 12 thank you hawkeyes...

*alabama and lsu game went into overtime-- with bama pulling it out and saban escaping death valley...the atmosphere at lsu seems sooo crazy and fun...very sad i have never been able to experienc

e game day there...

*texas tech with hot graham harrell had no problem against oklahoma state...the little tom brady junior threw 6 td's and upped his case for heisman...

*the gators are just rolling right now...the matchup with them and bama in atlanta is going to be sweeeettt...percy harvin and timmy tebow amaze me...

you heard it here first -- my prediction is they are national champs...

***go titans go!!! we are 9-0...so glad they are moving along and this week they showed that they are more than a defensive and rushing team...home field advantage here we come!!!

***44 days till christmas!!!   can't wait to decorate my black and white tree...i love the holidays and the chance to be with family and friends...the good food...the music...the decorations...it's the most wonderful time of the year!!!!!

***been thinking a lot about my future...graduating and heading into the real world come may 2009...every day it seems like i hear/see where more companies are having lay offs...that is not a comforting feeling for a soon to be jobless graduate...but i have the thoughts/prayers that things happen for a reason and everything will work out...

*lovely lunch with the visiting oregon folks-- the dawkins + steph + wey at trio in market square..very tasty!  

*big ups to annie and lady vol volleyball on their current win streak...big game vs florida this friday

*enjoyed a very entertaining video chat during class tonight too...haha...thanks to vava and the underwater duo of leah and lauren...

ok...enough for tonight...bout to watch gossip girl (woo woo)...big week of school stuff as we are winding down the semester...
